Christmas in Medellin
A few highlights from our Christmas season here in Medellin. :) We miss you all!
This photo does it no justice, but our normally beautiful view has become filled with a variety of blinking lights—reds, blues, purples—making it an abnormally more beautiful view! No snow, but we have lights. :)
A night of fireworks.
Spent some time with the women and men. :)
It looks like this house has been decorated for Christmas, but this is just how it looks all year long (except for maybe the window curtain although we’re not sure).
Behind the children is their two-story house built out of scraps, and a sign above their doorway that reads “Merry Christmas” (spelled wrong).
Decorating the church with the youth of Manantiales
A celebration for the kids.
The children of El Pomar and Manantiales were treated to games, a Christmas play, ice cream, pizza, gifts, and a bag of groceries to celebrate Christmas at their homes. :)
Aren’t they adorable?
This little guy, Jonathan, can often be found around my neck. :)
